hook quality is fantastic. auto anchor screws that come with it are less impressive. If you are biting into a softer wood should predrill or can divide the Council. FYI There are two in each package. I haven't tried the screws directly into a 2 x 4. I used a 1 "x 4" x 6 pine plank feet sunk into the studs to keep a bunch of these. Il pino began to split when I used the screws provided directly.
